The Social Media Manager is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. That passion comes through as he/she engages with customers on a daily basis, through digital social media channels as well as face to face interactions with the ultimate goal of turning fans into customers.  An essential component is communicating the company’s brand in a positive, authentic way what will attract today’s modern, hyper-connected buyers. The Social Media Manager is instrumental in managing the company’s content-related assets and is responsible for conceptualizing and applying social media and marketing strategies.

Job Description
  • collaborate with the rest of the crew

  • design and consumer engagement strategies

  • observe and analyze website traffic

  • conduct focus groups

  • create unique promotional opportunities

  • demonstrate creative approaches for staff and management

  • document promotional process and methods and build on successful campaigns

  • scout and establish promotional opportunities including;

    • building a target publication lists

    • developing a contact list of specific writers and editors

    • create customized email templates for each writer/publication

  • keep up with and create new marketing trends and methodologies
